Meet the Expert: Douglas Noble, retired museum director

Douglas Noble

Doug retired after 38 years as a Museum Director/Administrator. He now paints wildlife and natural landscapes and is writing a memoir titled, “The Museum of Unnatural History”. His  volunteer work includes serving on the Steering Committee for the Osher Life-Long Learning Institute (OLLI) for those 50 or better, hosted in Jacksonville at the University of North Florida. Doug serves on the Changing Art Exhibition Committee at St. John’s Episcopal Cathedral and as a volunteer educator for the Rattlesnake Conservancy. Dedicated to the conservation of rattlesnakes, this National Organization is headquartered at the Tree Hill Nature Center in Jacksonville, Florida.
